Bacon Breakfast Croissant Sandwich with Maple Dunkin Donuts Copycat
This flavorful bacon breakfast croissant sandwich is a copy of your favorite Dunkin’ Donuts breakfast sandwich. Also known as the bacon egg and cheese croissant, it is delicious!
It’s also easy to put together and easy to customize to your liking. We use bacon, cheese, and eggs for this bacon breakfast croissant croissant sandwich, but you can change or leave any of those out.
As an example, if you want to use sausage instead of bacon you can. You can also change up the cheese if you don’t prefer Gouda when making this bacon breakfast croissant sandwich.
I mean check out this sandwich! It’s absolutely amazing! This bacon egg and cheese breakfast croissant is sweet, salty, and full of flavor.

Dunkin Donuts Bacon Breakfast Croissant Sandwich
This recipe makes 2 sandwiches but it is easy to double, triple, or even quadruple the recipe if you need more.
Ingredients Needed:
- 4 slices of bacon
- Two croissants
- 2 slices of cheese (this recipe uses Gouda, but you can use any cheese you prefer)
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
How to make the bacon breakfast croissant:
The first step is to mix your maple syrup and brown sugar together. Spread that sugar mixture over the bacon. This is going to give it an amazing sugar glaze and give it a little bit of sweetness.
Whisk the eggs in a small bowl.
On the stove (you can also use a griddle), set the heat to medium-high and cook the bacon. You can let it cook to your preference of crispiness. While my kids prefer it to be less crispy, I like it as crispy as you can get.
Once you have the bacon cooked, add the whisked eggs next to the bacon and cook them until they are done (2-4 minutes or until they are cooked thoroughly).
You can do the eggs in a separate pan if you don’t have enough room. I like to spread the eggs out so they are as large as I can get them. Then, I will cut them in half and fold them to fit the croissant.
When my daughter makes it, she likes to cook them separately so there isn’t much grease. If you are using a pan, you might want to either drain and wipe out the bacon grease or use two separate pans.
Place the cheese slices on your egg to let it melt just a tad.
Cut open your croissants and place the folded egg, bacon, and cheese on there.
